I really, really love what i do! I can't imagine doing anything else and I think it really shows in the photos I take. To me, they're filled with emotion and just a real sense of having FUN!. The wedding day, for me, has everything I've ever wanted to photograph built right in. I get to photograph some amazing details of things like shoes, flowers and rings and I also get to witness REAL emotion. From the tears during a father daughter dance to the craziness that happens on the dance floor at every wedding. It's amazing to watch, week after week, people coming together to show their love and support for each other. How could you not walk away from a wedding feeling all that love?! I get to do that every weekend. I can often be found smiling, laughing and yes, even crying at just about every wedding. Being the father to two small girls, the father-daughter dance gets me every time! :-)

I started my career in NYC working for some of the best known photographers of our time. I built a strong client base that included just about every major fashion and editorial magazine. All of those experiences have only helped to mold me into the photographer I am today. Being a part of a couples wedding day is truly and honor and I look forward to talking with you about how we might best work together.

Although we're based on Martha's Vineyard, Kristen and I are willing to travel anywhere your wedding takes us. For more info on who we are, check out our blog.

Kristen Leigh Conklin

Kristen has been working with Joe for the past 5 years both as a photographer and the muscle in the office :-)   She basically runs the joint so if you have a question, don't be afraid to give her a call. Occasionally she lets Joe refill the paper in the printer or run to Mocha Motts for a 3pm Latte but it's rare, ;-) As much as Joe likes to take credit for the incredible albums we design, Kristen is also the album designer of the two, so all credit really should go to her! ;-)

Currently, Kristen has the cover of the "Martha's Vineyard Wedding Guide", her amazing photographs can also be found in "The Boston Globe", "The Knot" and various other publications around the country. If you'd like to see a complete wedding she has done just let us know, she has zillions to show and probably one at your venue!

When not spending 18 plus hours a day chained to her computer, Kristen can be found basking in the sun and traveling the world with her trusty camera in tow!!
